Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia is ready to donate the Russian coronavirus vaccine to the staff of the United Nations (UN).

He said this during a speech at the 75th session of the UN General Assembly.

“Russia is ready to provide all the necessary qualified assistance to the UN, in particular, we offer to provide our vaccine for voluntary vaccination of employees of the Organization and its subdivisions free of charge,” the Kremlin press service quotes Mr. Putin.

The Russian president said that Russia received similar appeals from colleagues from the UN.

Mr Putin proposed to hold an online conference with the participation of states interested in cooperation on the creation of vaccines against COVID-19. “I repeat again, we are absolutely open and committed to partnership,” he said and canceled that Russia was ready to cooperate with all states on the supply of Russian vaccine.
