Russia calls not to interfere in the internal affairs of a sovereign country.
This was announced on the air of the RBK TV channel by the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, commenting on the calls of Western countries to release Alexei Navalny.
“For a couple of weeks we have been in a state of comments and responses to such attacks and statements. There is no need to interfere in the internal affairs of a sovereign state,” RIA Novosti quotes the diplomat.
As noted by Zakharova, Moscow recommends everyone “to take care of their own problems.”
“Believe me, and I think you know that, these countries have a lot of their own problems, there is something to do,” she added.
Earlier, the Simonovsky Court of Moscow, at the request of the FSIN, replaced Navalny’s suspended sentence with a real one.
After that, Germany, Great Britain and the United States called for the release of Navalny.
In addition, French leader Emmanuel Macron called for his release.
