Gas transit to the territory of Kazakhstan was stopped after an explosion on the main gas pipeline in the Orenburg region, according to the Russian Ministry of Energy.
“The section of the gas pipeline from the zero to 123 kilometers of the Soyuz main gas pipeline has been disconnected. The transit of gas through the Alekseevka GIS to the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan was terminated. Gas supply to consumers is carried out from the cylinder of the Orenburg – Novopskov gas pipeline, ”the message says.
At present, gas is being burned out in the damaged area, the situation is under the special control of the Ministry of Energy of Russia.
On February 23, an explosion occurred on the federal gas pipeline in the Orenburg region. According to the Ministry of Emergency Situations, no one was hurt.
