Military training centers may appear in all Russian state universities. This proposal is being discussed with all law enforcement agencies, a source in the law enforcement agencies told TASS.
“Military training centers will be created in all state Russian universities. Now the implementation of this proposal is being worked out with all power ministries and departments,” said the agency’s interlocutor.
According to him, the opening of military training centers in commercial universities is also being discussed.
Until 2019, there were parallel military departments and training centers in universities, as well as three training programs. At the beginning of 2019, they were united into unified military training centers, where they train reserve officers and career officers, as well as privates and reserve sergeants. Now in Russia there are about 100 military training centers at universities.
