Berlin and Paris need to “immediately bring to their senses” the Ukrainian authorities in connection with the aggravation of the situation in Donbass.
This was stated on Tuesday by Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov at a press conference following talks with Indian Foreign Minister Subramaniyam Jaishankar.
“Unfortunately, every time the Normandy format is encountered in one capacity or another, whether at the level of leaders, representatives, employees of the foreign ministries, we do not see energetic actions on the part of our French and German colleagues to bring the Ukrainian side to life. there is already too much evidence that this needs to be done urgently, “Lavrov said.
According to the Russian Foreign Minister, Moscow is concerned about Kiev’s rhetoric regarding the situation in Donbass.
“As for the statements of the Ukrainian leadership, there have already been many analytical articles and reports on this matter. We are worried about this [Kiev’s statements]. We are talking about this to our European colleagues. We hope that there is a corresponding understanding of what is happening in Washington as well.” – said Lavrov.
