The Russian authorities are ready to meet Ukrainian President Vladimir Zelensky in Moscow at any time, Vladimir Putin said at a meeting with Belarusian leader Alexander Lukashenko.
He specified that the talks at such talks could be about “the development of bilateral relations.”
“If President Zelensky wants to start restoring relations, then we will only welcome this,” Putin added.
In the event that the Ukrainian leadership wants to discuss the problems of Donbass, then first of all it needs to meet with the heads of the DPR and LPR, and then raise these issues with representatives of third countries, the Russian president emphasized.
Earlier this week, Zelensky posted a video message in which he suggested that Putin “meet anywhere in the Ukrainian Donbass where there is a war.”
