Russian President Vladimir Putin said that Russia will not interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan and involve its armed forces in a “conflict of all against all”.
Putin said this during his speech to the participants of the United Russia congress.
He noted that today a difficult and alarming situation has developed in Afghanistan.
The President added that the Russian side is closely monitoring the situation and is actively cooperating with its allies in the CSTO.
“Of course, we are not going to interfere in the internal affairs of Afghanistan, much less involve our armed forces in a conflict of all against all. This is what happens there in my opinion”, he said.
