Russian President Vladimir Putin said that the Russian army is armed with more than 2 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles. He stated this at a meeting with the leadership of the Ministry of Defense and defense industry enterprises.
The broadcast from the meeting was conducted by the TV channel “Russia 24”.
“Now we have over 2 thousand unmanned aerial vehicles in service. We need to continue working on them – to work as hard as it has been recently,” Putin said.
He stressed that in the development of unmanned military aviation, it is necessary to introduce modern technologies, including artificial intelligence.
Earlier it was reported that Russia is preparing to launch the first drone training ground.
