Tour operators and representatives of the tourism industry reported that Russians and Ukrainians began to behave more peacefully towards each other in Turkish resorts.
This is reported by the Strana.ua.
So, according to the employees of accommodation facilities, if a few years ago there could be fights or conflicts between tourists, now the rest has become much calmer.
“The impression is that people are simply burned out. Several years ago there were fights and just swearing. Now everything is somehow quiet,” said a hotel worker in Antalya.
At the same time, an animator from another hotel clarified that if conflicts do occur, it is extremely rare and usually between drinking vacationers.
In addition, Ukrainian MP Ilya Kiva, who is now vacationing in Turkey, noted that in his hotel, Russians and Ukrainians make up almost 50 percent of all guests and get along well with each other. “I have not seen a single case of aggression between Russians and Ukrainians, I have not noticed anything like this,” he said.
Vacationers themselves spoke about the friendly atmosphere in Turkish resorts – some Ukrainians added that they even managed to make strong friendships with travelers from Russia.
“I met and made friends with guys from Russia (they were from different cities – Moscow, St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod). With some we went to the gym at the hotel together, they are also for a healthy lifestyle. And believe me – we have never talked about politics, no one has proved anything to anyone, ”a resident of Kiev who was vacationing in Turkey shared his story.
