Ex-employees accuse Tesla CEO Elon Musk of fostering a misogynistic work atmosphere. There are similar allegations at his aerospace company.
Former female employees have sued U.S. electric car maker Tesla for sexual harassment in the workplace. According to lawyers, the six ex-employees reported an environment “where it is normal to be whistled at, ogled, touched inappropriately and made advances toward.” Five of the women worked at a plant in Fremont, in the U.S. state of Florida. Another was employed at a service center.
Just last month, a former female employee at the plant filed a lawsuit alleging ongoing sexual harassment. This was followed last week by a lawsuit filed by another victim.
