For seven more days, tourists are not allowed to enter Israel. According to the office of Prime Minister Naftali Bennett, the borders will remain closed until December 29.
According to the statement, anyone living in Israel and returning from abroad must go into isolation for at least three days. This also applies to those who have been vaccinated.
Ghana is also sealing itself off. People can now only enter the country by air or sea; entry by land is not possible for an indefinite period. President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo justified this in a TV speech with an impending fourth wave of infection. In Africa, more than 80 percent of travel is estimated to be by land. Since the outbreak of the pandemic, Ghana has registered almost 132,000 positive Corona cases, of which 1,255 were fatal.
