Four people were injured in a shooting at a mall in the Chicago suburb of Oak Brook. This was reported to reporters by a police department spokesman.
According to him, two people who knew each other opened fire at each other in one of the corridors of the mall, TASS reported. The police spokesman specified that four wounded people were taken to hospital, among them, presumably, one of those who opened the shooting. The other shooter has been detained. It is stressed that the lives of all the victims are out of danger.
Police continue to check the mall. No information has been released about the cause of the conflict that led to the shooting.
