A ballistic missile launched by the DPRK fell outside Japan’s exclusive economic zone, the NHK Broadcasting Company reported.
As noted by journalists, the missile, which flew a distance of about 500 kilometers, was launched after 8 a.m. local time. As a result of North Korea’s actions, no damage to Japanese aircraft and ships was recorded.
According to Japanese Defense Minister Nobuo Kishi, experts from his ministry are currently gathering data on the North Korean missile and conducting an appropriate analysis of the information about the incident in cooperation with the United States and South Korea.
