The increase in prices in Venezuela over the past year exceeded 680%. This was reported by the Central Bank of the Bolivarian Republic.
It is noted that in 2021 inflation was 686.4%. In December, prices rose by 7.6%. At the same time in the autumn months this figure was also kept at 6-8%. Analysts believe that the South American country is out of the hyperinflation cycle in which it has been since late 2017.
In 2020, according to the Central Bank, inflation in the Bolivarian Republic was 2,959.8%.
