In the German Bundestag there may be a new position – that of parliamentary poet. The idea, which was born in the bowels of the Munich Lyric Cabinet (Germany’s largest reading society), was supported by Bundestag vice president and Green MP Katrin Goering-Eckardt. She is going to bring the initiative to the presidium for discussion, writes Die Welt. The news – for once, not about the “crown” – caused a heated discussion in the media and on social networks.
