Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic did not recognize the independence of Kosovo.
This was stated by Foreign Minister Ivica Dacic in an interview with TV Pink.
“President Vucic rejected clause 10 on the recognition of Kosovo in a harsh manner and clearly stated that it was unacceptable for Serbia,” Dacic said.
Negotiations of the Serbian delegation with the Prime Minister of self-proclaimed Kosovo Avdulah Khoti are taking place in the United States. Before the start of the dialogue, President Vucic said that he would fight for Serbia with all his might.
“(President Vucic. – Ed. Note) will behave in accordance with the Constitution of Serbia,” said the Foreign Minister.
Members of the Serbian delegation made emotional statements during the negotiations. In particular, the Minister of Finance of the country, Sinisa Mali, designated the new document as the most difficult of all previously proposed on Kosovo.
The US presidential administration reported that negotiations between Kosovo and Serbia will take place on September 3-4. The dialogue will not concern politics, but only economics, the American department said.
Earlier, Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic announced the victory of the Serbian Progressive Party headed by him in the parliamentary elections. Trumpeters spoke before the address of the head of state.
