The Belarusian state TV channel ONT has released an audio recording of an alleged conversation between Berlin and Warsaw about the “poisoning” of Russian blogger Alexei Navalny.
The ONT also said that the “recording” had been passed on to the Russian Federal Security Service (FSB) for them to look into the contents.
In a published audio recording, a German representative allegedly stated that in the case of Navalny, confirmation of the poisoning is not so important, since “all methods are good in war.”
On the recording, you can also hear the man, who is called the representative of Warsaw, says that it is necessary to “drown” Russian President Vladimir Putin in the problems of Russia, and there are “many” such problems. In addition, he says that Putin needs to discourage “stick his nose into the affairs” of Belarus.
Earlier, the German government reported that the blogger was allegedly poisoned with a nerve agent from the Novichok group. After that, the head of European diplomacy, Josep Borrell, said that the European Union reserves the right to impose sanctions.
At the same time, the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov recalled that Russian experts also tested various versions, but at the same time, no toxic substances were found in the blogger’s body. The Russian Foreign Ministry called the haste with which the United States and the European Union took up this theory suspicious. The diplomats admitted that the statement about the poisoning was intended to substantiate some previously prepared “response measures”.
Scientist Leonid Rink, who participated in the development of Novichok, told RIA Novosti that Navalny’s symptoms are completely different from those that occur when poisoning with this toxin.
