All issues in Belarus will be resolved at the will of the citizens of the republic.
Such a promise was made by the President of the country Alexander Lukashenko at a meeting on the preparation of the sixth All-Belarusian People’s Assembly, BelTA informs.
“At the end of my presidential life, I guarantee that it will be only as the people decide,” Lukashenka said. The president called these words an oath.
Mass protests have been taking place in Belarus since August 9. They began after the presidential elections, in which, according to the CEC, Lukashenko won about 80% of the vote, while opposition candidate Svetlana Tihanovskaya – 10%.
