The EU vaccination campaign has been unsuccessful, in part due to the mistaken attitude towards the Russian Sputnik V vaccine. This opinion was expressed by the Norwegian newspaper Resett.
As the newspaper notes, the alliance viewed the Russian vaccine as a dangerous cocktail, while it is a conventional, classic vector vaccine.
“Those who thought that they had bypassed Russia were naive at best, and deliberately lied at worst. Russians surpass us in such sciences as physics, chemistry, pharmacology, as well as in aerospace and military technologies,” article. “Russophobia forces hatred to supplant rational thinking,” adds the author of the article.
The author of the article notes that the EU authorities will still have to turn to Moscow with a request to buy the drug, but after lost time, which turned into colossal losses. Fortunately, “Russians are pragmatic and don’t dwell on what was said earlier. And despite the political sanctions of the European Union, Russians love Europeans, because blood is known to be thicker than water, with or without AstraZeneca (the author’s sarcasm related to the suspicion of the AstraZeneca vaccine of blood clots).”
