Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Colonel-General Ruslan Khomchak held talks with the head of the NATO Military Committee, Stuart Peach.
This was reported in the press service of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“During the visit, the parties discussed the situation in the area of the joint forces operation and the general security situation around Ukraine,” the Facebook post said.
They also discussed the state of reform of the Armed Forces and the transformation of the training system in accordance with NATO approaches.
As noted, the head of the NATO Military Committee assured the Ukrainian side of further support for Ukraine from the North Atlantic Alliance.
Earlier, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova said that Russia calls on Ukraine and NATO countries to stop military preparations, escalate tensions in Donbass and refrain from destabilizing actions.
