Several US military personnel were injured in a clash with a Russian patrol in Syria, Reuters reported, citing an anonymous source in US military circles.
Several soldiers were reported to have received minor injuries. This happened through negligence, and not intentionally, there was no shootout between the parties. The Pentagon and US Central Command in the region declined to comment on the incident.
On the same day, a video was published of how a Russian armored personnel carrier (BTR-82A) rammed the American International MaxxPro in the area of Derik in Syria. This happened after US armored vehicles blocked the road for Russian transport.
Earlier on August 26, footage of “tough pressure” by the Russian Mi-8 of the American military got to the network. The helicopter flew up to military equipment in the area of Syrian Derik and was directly above it for several seconds.
