The American Government should begin preparations for a possible war with Russia or China.
This was stated in a report by U.S. Air Force Chief of Staff Charles Brown.
Any of the potential conflicts will be comparable in scale to World War II, Defense News magazine quotes him.
According to Brown, the leadership of the U.S. Army is not serious enough about the future war. To win, a country must develop its resources and focus on developing new technologies. The chief of staff intends to present a more specific list of necessary actions on Monday, September 14.
Brown took over as Air Force Chief of Staff in June. He became the first African American to serve and the first African American to join the Joint Chiefs of Staff since Colin Powell, who served as chairman from 1989-1993.
