Experts saw Russian MiG-29 fighters and AK-74 assault rifle in the American president’s election video.
The campaign headquarters of US President Donald Trump used images of Russian planes and machine guns in their campaign video, Politico reported.
In Let’s Make America Great Again, released on September 8, the authors urge citizens to support US troops and vote for Trump. The final shots show the silhouettes of three soldiers and three fighters against the setting sky.

According to US aircraft designer Pierre Spray and director of the analytical center in Moscow Ruslan Pukhov, the aircraft are Russian MiG-29 fighters.
Pukhov also said that one of the soldiers was holding an AK-74 assault rifle. Politico noted that the photo used in the election video is a free image from one of the photo stocks.
The Russian weapons in the photograph were identified by the chief editor of the Arsenal of the Fatherland magazine, military expert Viktor Murakhovsky.
“Yes, this is the MiG-29 and the AK-74 Kalashnikov assault rifle. [Identified] by the configuration of the aerodynamic aircraft, that is, the characteristic outlines of the wings, keels, and the number of suspensions. The configuration of the empennage of the aerodynamic surfaces and the number of pylons clearly indicate the Russian MiG-29 fighter. As for the Kalashnikov assault rifle, the contour of the gas mechanism of the firing compensator tube and front sight unambiguously indicate the AK-74 assault rifle, ”Murakhovsky told RBK.
