In his New Year’s greeting to U.S. President Joe Biden, Russian President Vladimir Putin expressed his belief that an effective Russian-U.S. dialogue can be established.
“I am convinced that in the development of our agreements reached during the June summit in Geneva and subsequent contacts, we can move forward and establish an effective Russian-American dialogue based on mutual respect and consideration of each other’s national interests,” the Kremlin press service quotes Putin’s congratulatory telegram as saying.
The press service informs that in his New Year and Christmas greeting message Putin noted that ” Russia and the United States, as countries with special responsibility for international and regional stability, can and should cooperate constructively, joining efforts in the face of numerous challenges and threats facing humanity.
